Understand what ownership includes
A machine purchase does not automatically include installation, oil or maintenance visits. Assign an operator and request approved refill and setup instructions. Confirm written warranty and delivery terms.
Read managed-service deliverables
Ask about equipment ownership, consumable quantities, visit frequency, fault response and extra-zone charges. A managed label is not evidence that all operating work is included.
Compare the same time period
Calculate first-year hardware, installation, oil, freight and agreed service costs against the contract’s fees and exclusions. Include cancellation, renewal and equipment-return conditions when reviewing the service proposal.
Choose for internal capacity
A business able to handle settings and inventory may consider equipment ownership. A multi-site programme may need additional coordination. HUME’s managed-service availability requires confirmation before choosing a contract model.
